Concentric Reducers and Eccentric Reducers share some common features but also have their unique characteristics:- Concentric Reducers : These reducers have a symmetrical conical shape, which aligns the centerline of the larger pipe with the centerline of the smaller pipe. This alignment is ideal for vertical piping systems and gravity-fed applications
- Eccentric Reducers : These reducers have an off-center or eccentric conical shape, aligning the centerline of the larger pipe to one side of the smaller pipe’s centerline. This alignment is perfect for horizontal piping systems, preventing the accumulation of air bubbles
